Class Descriptions
Our full-spectrum of classes is designed to grow with you throughout the life of your practice. You’ll have the ability to begin as an innocent starter yogi and grow to an adept yogi breaking out into handstands. Or you just might like to take the chill path and stick to ultra relaxing classes that help you calm and focus.
Power Hour
Power Hour embodies traditional yoga postures, core work, flow and longer posture holds designed to sculpt your body, improve flexibility, and increase coordination and muscle tone while relieving stress. This is a stronger class for those who are seeking more of a challenge.
Yin Yoga
Recently Yin Yoga has been “re-discovered,” and students of yoga are adding this challenging form of practice to their regular sadhana. Years of a dedicated asana practice will make anyone healthier, stronger, and more flexible, but at some point the muscles will have reached their limit of flexibility. New depths in postures, deeper ranges of motion, or an increased flow of energy may only be achievable by focusing on the deeper tissues of the body, the Yin. Many students find Yin Yoga to be the perfect compliment and balance to their more active, yang practices.
Yoga Spirit
Rejuvenate your spirit! An advanced class offering some faster paced flow intermixed with occasional longer asana holds, as well as an opportunity for more advanced inversion work including headstands, hand stands and forearm stands (optional). This is a wonderful class for a healthy challenge.
Early Bird Vinyasa
What better way to start your day and end your week than with a dynamic, powerful and fun early morning Vinyasa yoga class.
Mandala Yoga
Mandala is a Sanskrit word meaning “circle.” Focus on developing the core as well as liberation through stretching to release held places in the body. In Savasana enjoy guided personal journeying with the resonant vibration of the crystal singing bowls to attune the crown, third eye, 5th and 2nd chakras for balance and peaceful integration.
