Yoga Dinner!
Our practice is our sustenance. Join Christina for this wonderful and unique 6 week (or longer) class, “Yoga Dinner” in which we allow our practice to be our sustenance and then partake in delicious soup (and rice and maybe a few other things…) The real intent of this class is to follow a deliberate sequence of asanas designed to build core as well as upper body strength, deep flexibility, comfort with back bends, heart and hip openers. This will be a vigorous flow that we will build upon and deepen into more advanced versions of each asana as we progress. The repetition of same-sequencing each week allows us to realize our progress and truly master each posture and transition. Modifications are always offered, correct form discussed and utilized in a non-competitive, “no student left behind” atmosphere, while encouraging through heat, holds and asana a deep and challenging practice. (Then at the end we get to eat soup, and maybe crack out the juicer again.) Whoo-hoo! ($2 Donation requested toward food supplies and preparation if possible. This class is included in any class pass or membership.) All are welcome! Click on our “schedule” tab for day and time.
Power Hour
Power Hour embodies traditional yoga postures, core work, flow and longer posture holds designed to sculpt your body, improve flexibility, and increase coordination and muscle tone while relieving stress. This is a stronger class for those who are seeking more of a challenge.
Body Tone
Body Tone is a strength training class using hand weights, focusing on entire body muscle tone and development.
3-2-1
This 30 minute workout gives you a complete workout. Tone and work your core with weights, high and low impact aerobic/plyometric exercises, and the only ab exercises you will ever need to create stability and shape.
Yin Yoga
Recently Yin Yoga has been “re-discovered,” and students of yoga are adding this challenging form of practice to their regular sadhana. Years of a dedicated asana practice will make anyone healthier, stronger, and more flexible, but at some point the muscles will have reached their limit of flexibility. New depths in postures, deeper ranges of motion, or an increased flow of energy may only be achievable by focusing on the deeper tissues of the body, the Yin. Many students find Yin Yoga to be the perfect compliment and balance to their more active, yang practices.
Zumba
Zumba® Latin Dance-Fitness offers a combination of latin rhythms and easy to follow dance movements in an hour of work-your-butt-off (literally) fun!
Mat Pilates
Enhance the body’s alignment by strengthening the core and stabilizing the back muscles. Pilates is different from Yoga in that it is more focused on stabilizing and strengthening the pelvic floor and core. In many moves, you hold your torso in place while moving your limbs in different directions, which challenges your balance, core strength, stability and flexibility. You’ll find this workout is challenging and provides great toning benefits.
Qigong
Qigong is an integration of physical postures, breathing techniques, and focused intentions. The gentle, rhythmic movements of Qigong reduce stress, build stamina, increase vitality, and enhance the immune system. Whether you practice simply for the joy of it or for the hope of being healed, you will enjoy a feeling of lightness, contentment and satisfaction with oneself.
Tai Chi
Tai Chi is a gentle exercise originating from China, characterized by slow, continuous, curve like movements. Enjoy increased flexibility and muscular strength and improved posture. Tai Chi is particularly beneficial for those with joint or balance issues, or those looking to compliment their yoga practice or other fitness activities. Tai Chi can also help integrate the body and mind, aiding in stress-relief, relaxation and centering. Open to all levels and abilities. This class can safely accommodate people with disabilities, as well as challenge an experienced athlete.

Rejuvenate your spirit! An advanced class offering some faster paced flow intermixed with occasional longer asana holds, as well as an opportunity for more advanced inversion work including headstands, hand stands and forearm stands (optional). This is a wonderful class for a healthy challenge.
