“My approach to therapy is with an open mind and heart. Every person is on their own evolutionary path and place of growth. All points in growth are to be honored. Everyone has a right to heal at their own pace in their own time and be in charge of it. I have no agenda. The person seeking treatment sets the agenda and I provide reflection, guidance, occasional advice, and support. Together we collaborate the choice of tools; the treatment modalities used depend on what each person feels most aligned with. Some examples of tools and modalities are a cognitive behavioral approach which places emphasis on the way that we think, DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy)- which is another cognitive approach, journaling, dream analysis, workbooks, biblio-therapy (book recommendations), psychoanalysis, role play, art therapy, meditation, creative visualization and talk therapy. I am also EMDR trained. (For more information on EMDR go to this website; www.emdria.org)”

“The foundation of any relationship begins with trust building. Providing a safe, supportive, unconditional and confidential* environment helps to nurture and build that trust. I honor this process with each individual I see. If you have any questions or would like to set up an appointment please feel free to call me at 603-219-1839.”
