Child Care

$3.00 per hour per child

HOURS: Please note we offer childcare Monday through Friday opposite the morning classes (with the exception of early morning Tai Chi on Fridays when running.) Childcare is also available Monday and Thursday afternoons opposite the 4pm and 5:30pm class times.

    • The Practice Room has a small but sweet childcare room with an adjoining bathroom. We accept children from the age of 9 months and older. Please contact us for a special exception for younger infants.
    • Please provide any special items your child may need, from a special blankie or toy, to diaper bag, bottles etc.
    • It is our practice to help each child adjust if this is a new routine for them. We will discreetly contact you if your child is crying for over 10 minutes and is needing you, otherwise simply relax into your practice and rest assured that your child is having fun!
    • Please arrive a few minutes early to help your child get situated. New children will like to see where mom or dad are practicing; it is good to allow extra time for new children to become oriented to their surroundings.

Practice Room Policies!

    • SIGN-IN: In order for us to keep track of your visits we ask that you sign-in when you attend classes. Instructors are paid based on attendance; for each student who does not sign in the teacher does not get reimbursed. While teaching is an honor and a gift, our instructors work very hard. Thank you for your kindness and consideration in remembering to sign in to each class!
    • EXPIRATION DATES: In order for The Practice Room to drop our prices we also have to be more diligent about holding to expiration dates of class passes and memberships. We will always do our best to honor your busy schedule; please communicate with us in advance if you need an extension on your pass or membership for a legitimate reason. We will be happy to work with you. Otherwise please note expiration times associated with each class pass.
