Meet Our Massage Therapists
Julie Bucciarelli, Licensed Massage Therapist
![]()
Julie has been doing massage for friends and family since she can remember. Working solely on instinct and thinking ‘what would feel good’ to her body, her efforts were encouraged by those she touched. Frequently enough they would ask, “How did you know where it hurts?” She didn’t have a clear answer for them but felt like it was a natural act for her.
In 2006 she stumbled upon the Vital Kneads Institute of Massage in Belmont, NH while looking for a massage herself. Taking the cue from the universe she took up the Director’s invitation to enroll and become a licensed massage therapist.
The basis for her massage starts with a platform of Swedish massage, great for improved circulation and lymph drainage (drains away waste and bring nutrients and oxygen. For therapeutic massage, Julie turns to Neuromuscular techniques using mostly Muscle Energy Technique (MET). It is a tender but affective approach to encourage muscles to release inappropriate tension. In addition, Julie has found benefits for her clients from foot Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Cranial Sacral work, Shiatsu, Reiki, Zero Balancing, and is currently learning Thai Massage.
Julie says that open communication before, during and after the massage will help her create the massage you need right now. Because of this, no two people will have the same massage, nor is it likely that you will want or need the same massage every time. “It is my job to be malleable to your current needs.”
